Boston-based genre-defying rockers we broke the weather are thrilled to announce the vinyl release of their critically acclaimed sophomore album, Restart Game, via Argonauta Records. The special edition will be available June 27, 2025, in a stunning gatefold format featuring colored vinyl, marking the one-year anniversary of the album’s original digital and CD release.
Blending the raw power of stoner rock with the complexity of prog, the psychedelia of garage rock, and the improvisational spirit of jazz fusion, Restart Game has quickly earned a reputation as one of the most original and bold underground releases of the past year. With influences spanning from King Crimson and Rush to King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, the album distills the band's multifaceted sound into a cohesive, dynamic listening experience.
Formed in 2018 in a Boston basement with no clear agenda but a shared passion for pushing boundaries, we broke the weather have since become known for their fearless fusion of styles and energetic live shows. The current lineup features multi-instrumentalists Nick Cusworth and Scott Wood, drummer/vocalist Andrew Clark, lead guitarist Kevin DiTroia, and bassist/synth-wizard Steve Muscari.
Signed to Italian powerhouse Argonauta Records, the band is ready to offer fans a collectible physical edition of Restart Game that matches the scope and ambition of the music itself.
