Sichgart (???????) is Ukrainian Thrash/Death Metal band from Kyiv, Ukraine, formed in 2008. Ukrainian lyrics are all about national spirit revival, remind about historical past and sharp social problems. The name formed from two words: "sich" and "gart". "Sicha" in Ukrainian means "bloody combat with cold weapons"; historians also connect the word "sich" with military fortifications (like "Zaporozhian Sich"). "Gart" means "condition produced by tempering". So, literally "Sichgart" means "a combat that hardens".
