Lomor is a power trio band from Reunion Island (France). Influenced by the sounds and styles of big names like Slayer, Testament or Kreator, Lomor offers an old school Thrash with some taste of Punk or Metalcore sometimes.
Just after the release of the first single “Kanyar L’Enfer” in January 2021, Lomor worked during this whole year on their songs by recording many demos on its own. The band wanted to prepare every single detail of its upcoming album “Perseverance of Sickness”.
Thus, after contacting Sébastien Camhi from Art Music Studio in France, Lomor began studio sessions on January 24th, 2022. Records of all instruments and vocals were done in late April and the mixing was in May. The album has then been sent to Kohlekeller Studio where Kai Stahlenberg made the mastering.
Lomor is recent but has already done many significant gigs in Reunion Island, to name a few: an online interview/live in September 2020 on Facebook in partnership with Studiotic and Nawar Production during the pandemic lockdown, the opening for Pamplemouss on November 11th, 2022 on the mythical and exceptional scene of Teat Plein Air de Saint-Gilles, an awesome concert on October 29th, 2022 for the Tattoo Convention of Reunion Island where Lomor has opened for the mighty Mass Hysteria.
On December 9th, 2022, Lomor released its debut album and gave a “Release Party” concert at Le Kabardock in front of a wild crowd of 200 people.
